Rocky Mountain Highs

828 in the 970! Colorado Trail just outside of Durango, San Juan NF, CO.
Our host with the most, the esteemed and world-famous Brett Davis, indulged us with a river trip on the Durango town run of the Animas. Shown in the center here is not our raft, but rather a Walmart variety of a Sevlor inflatable hitting the bottom drop of Corner Pocket. The Durango Whitewater Park section become class 4 at this level (4000 cfs).

Thad rode 5 days out of 5. I was told I only rode 4...apparently my fifth ride that entailed biking along the greenway into town and getting pizza and beer didn't count.

Mesa Verde National Park was incredible!

What would vacation be without a stop at a brewery?
